Both injured I'd guess.
Marsh Injured AGAIN
Moore for White was just Common Sense.
Glad Aish kept his Spot |
Those changes actually weaken the side quite a bit. White has been our best forward over the last few weeks and big ask for Moore to contribute anywhere near as much. Marsh was sensational against Freo and his pace and marking will be missed in defense.
White was walking laps at training so not totally unexpected, no hint Marsh was an issue, maybe he's got a virus. |

Sack is a better matchup for Everitt and Brown is good for Casboult whilst White hasn't been as good with Cloke in the side because they offer a similar thing, leadup forward. _________________ Get back on top. |

I'd have preferred to keep White and drop Cloke....but I suspect the media leaches were ready to attack Bucks if Cloke was dropped again so quickly. I think this makes as a bit slower and less agile. Cloke had better play well or else White will return quick smart.
It's terrible news that Marsh is injured again after playing his best game yet. At least Goldsack will give us a good contest. |

White is pretty stiff, had his least impactful game in weeks and gets dropped for 10 disposals and 2 goals in a winning side. Moore was being lauded for games that weren't that good.
Marsh with a calf is a worry. |

I'm happy to see the Sack back, I reckon he earned it in that VFL game last week. He directly contributed to at least 2 goals with raking long kicks into the forward line. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Agreed.
Yet, on the positive at least Trav has been shown faith- he now must repay that faith or languish in the VFL for remainder of the year.
Hope he kicks a bag to get him back into form (crosses fingers/toes/self prays to each and every deity known to man!) |

Disappointing that Marsh is injured, especially coming off his career best game to date, but Goldsack is an adequate replacement for him. One of Cloke or White was always going to be stiff to make way for Moore, but White is the unlucky one this week.
I almost wonder whether the club should have transitioned Moore back to the reserves before bringing him back to the side, but obviously they thought it would be beneficial for his development to play him in the seniors straight away.
The inclusion of Silvagni for Carlton seems to be driven by the idea of bringing in the crowds from a Carlton perspective, but apparently he had been playing well in the reserves. Let's hope we give him a big welcome to the AFL the way we did for Jack Watts in the Queens Birthday clash in 2009. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I was just thinking about Silvagni, who should play on him to give him a proper welcome to the AFL ala Watts?
Sack or Marley?
Either would crunch him first time he gets the ball, which would be great to see, as would the outrage from the Blooooos supporters. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Please don't confuse alien probes with anal probes; I don't want to end up like Cartman in season 1 of South Park from the late 90s. Not a good look.

I can't believe that Marsh has a calf injury given he participated in match play today.
Having said that, Goldsack played really well last week against Richmond and is an adequate replacement for Marsh.
White is unlucky to lose his spot, but so would have Cloke been unlucky to lose his spot. I would have preferred Moore to play a week with the VFL, but he represents the future, so has to return to the side at some point. |

I think this game is critical for Bux. Lose and we are not making progress. Win and we are at least appear to be moving forwards.
For the supporters faith (or an attempt to gain some back) in Bux going forward, this is a critical game.
Buckle needs this win desperately and may be a turning point. |
