| Post subject: Can you get tap water at the MCG, Etihad or @ other grounds? |  |

Is there a public tap at the G or etihad or other grounds. Heard a segment on a radio programme (not MMM) that there are done deals between the grounds & beverage providers (a big lobby group) that narrow if not eliminate the amount of tap water we can get at sports stadia & in our case the footy.
As a legends member, when it's not busy (usually when we are losing which unfortunately is all too common this year) the bar staff fill my water bottles with tap water free of charge.
What is your experience & do you know apart from the dunnies (bloody spell check didn't know the word dunnies)  where you can get simple everyday tap water at the G or elsewhere?

Man the loos under the ponsford stink so bad I'd never get the water there! Interesting about the bar staff, but usually, I just get booze, especially this year!

Interesting, a person can't get simple tap water at the venues (it seems).
Can we get simple tap water at the Holden Centre as in public taps?

There is free tap water at Etihad somewhere, no idea where but have seen the stadiums social media account advertising it.
As for the MCG, never seen any water taps inside the stadium that are available to public (outside of the toilets of course). |

There are always jugs of water (usually chilled) in the members area at Holden Centre and also in the downstairs cafe. |

at etihad there are a number of filtered water taps. you just need to follow the footsteps on the ground.
i have not seen anything similar at the mcg.
aami park has a couple of filtered water taps.

Pretty poor form if the MCG makes it that hard to get water. Easy access to tap water should be compulsory at such a huge public event. How hard would it be for them to install bubblers in various places along the walkway?
