Pendlebury marks on centre Ryder wing.

Chips outboard to Macaffer.

Caff chips in turn to HF, finds Wills 50 out on the boundary.

Decides to go to 25m area, wise choice, kick has to be precise, IT IS, Gault takes the mark!

From 35m, DIF... GOAL!!!

78-25

Golds head has been used for a speedball today.

nice mark to gault, and nice goal. He's presented today without being great, needs to build some consistent form and get some confidence up before he'll be considered again, if at all.

Goodyear's lack of awareness sees him knocked off for holding the ball at HB, which sees Richmond go back inside 50, McBean fails the primary objective of a key forward (to mark the ball) but gets a cheap one in the square using his superior agility on Howe...

Macaffer uses his superior strength and judgement to mark in the Trenerry Crescent pocket, but misses...

I had thought that Mr Mc Bean might be worth a look if Richmond would trade him. I've changed my mind, I'd rather keep gault.

And as I'm typing the above, the ball comes back in for Wills to clunk it!

From 35m, 45d... misses...

And while I'm typing the above this time, Wills finds himself with it again, which I am reliably told was from a mark.

From pretty much the same spot as before... GOAL!!!

I do like the look of Wills. Big boy, really strong through the quads and good upper body. Will fly for marks, go in hard and shows some nice skills. Reckon we got a keeper there.

Question for MB or anyone, I haven't sighted Frost since the first quarter. Is he still out there?

I think Gault's time at Collingwood may be drawing to a close. He just doesn't look to me like he has improved in three years.

Fair observation. He missed a fair few games with concussion, he's only recently back so I'll reserve judgement until seasons end and see if he can string together some improving form, or not.

TBH right now I'd swap him for Howe if I could.

He's still out there, stui.

Just got run down late trying to charge off of HB ala Manassa. Still had the awareness to handpass it off at last possible moment to avoid getting pinged, though...

I'd rather neither...
