FWIW Heater will always be a Pie at heart, at the end of their playing and or coachind days, they all come back too the Pies eventually, look at peter moore

Dont know about that.

He seemed quite happy with how things panned out, when I spoke to him at Giants supporter day earlier this year.

I think he is very happy to be not associated with our current rabble of a club.

where we are in our premiership window?!
Mate were nudging midday in our rock-bottom window!
And pretty sure we've been out of the finals for some seasons... Crying or Very sad

Yea I guess that's what I'm getting at. Having Shaw now wouldn't exactly make a difference as we're not playing finals anyway - his talents will just be wasted. He probably also wouldn't be playing so well either as our defence would just get dominated.

What if Beams was fit to play in the 2011 GF?

What is MM did not cut James Podsiadly from our rookie list?

What if Buckely was not the forwards coach in 2010, whom took St Kilda's press to another level?

What if..... we just moved on and stopped living in the past?

Nobody sung Shaw's Praises when Betts tore him a new one a couple of weeks ago? Curious.

Well he would have stunk the joint out, like his previous finals efforts.

Well, the future will suck until we change coaches, so right now, 2010 is still a happy place. Find a happy place Dyso, you can do it...

True Harvs; as I said on a previous page, Shaw would be going off his dial the way Buckley and Hart run the backline...

Long enough for a GWS flag
We got a player who is yet to be rated as an A grader.
He has some potential but how much I don't know.
At the moment GWS are miles ahead in this trade.

"If I stayed at Collingwood I'm pretty confident I would have played out the two years remaining on my contract and that would have been it,"
Heath Shaw

Says a huge amount about what he thought about the coach.
Heater is a competitive beast, so put him in a side with belief and he is there.

The quote says exactly what it says, you're the one adding the anti-Buckley twist (what a shock). May I add that Shaw is the only one that's performed particularly well since he left the Pies.

I guess that means the others aren't as well-coached as they were under Buckley. I mean, that's your logic isn't it?

And a boat with Taylor Adams in it. I can live with that.

You are the one that can't read between the lines.

It is posts like this that really gets under my skin.
Bet you didn't say that when he blocked the Goal in 2010.
A grader at Collingwood and a A grader at GWS

Heater was an A grader at Collingwood and still is
He was sacked due to his lack of discipline
Deal with it

No you deal with it.
The trade is currently benefiting GWS more than us.
And this is the main point.
Jono Brown reckons we have 2 current A graders
Pendles and Sidey.
We gave up an A grader.
But the usual people keep telling me we are recruiting really well.
Being telling me that for years and years.
Funny we only have 2 A graders and going further south every year.
And little old Heater was a naughty boy
And the teacher said lets expel the little twerp.
As any teacher knows explusion is a poor substitute for dealing with the issue.

We should never have traded Phil Carman. Rolling Eyes

I agree. Sitting behind the goals, close to the fence at the G one day, a high ball came to the square. Carman from the back of the pack gave Wayne Richardson a big shove in the back. Richardson flew forward, got a free, slotted the goal. All while Carman and the Pies crowd directly behind were pissing themselves laughing.
