In Group F, Iceland snatched a win against Austria 2:1 with the last kick of the match (and only 35% of the possession) and Hungary drew 3-all with Portugal (2 goals to the Self-effacing One). So, that's 3 victories in a row to Iceland, in one of which they also scored more goals than their opponents.
Final standings in Group F are Hungary 5, Iceland 5, Portugal 3 and Austria 1.
In Group E, Italy and the Republic of Ireland are nil-all after 50 minutes, as are Sweden and Belgium. |

Belgium has scored! They lead Zlatan Ibrahimovic 1:0 after 85 minutes.
Ireland has also taken the lead late in their game. |

Hungary have been the surprise packet of the tournament, I reckon. Playing really well.
Lots of excitement with all the games coming up but three of them should be absolute cracking games: Croatia v Portugal, Hungary v Belgium and of course Spain v Italy. _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Great to see Iceland through to the knockout stages especially after Cristiano Ronaldo's insulting comments toward them last week. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |
