| He mostly doesn't bowl in the subcontinent in first class matches, so that probably doesn't much matter. |

His average is excellent, over the last couple of years.
Sheffield Shield: 13 wickets at 23.69 in 2014-15 and 14 at 20.92 in 2015-16 - from limited opportunities. He debuted 8 years ago and has only played 38 matches, playing second fiddle to Bryce McGain and then, Fawad Ahmed.
Even overall, a 37.9 average for a spinner is quite ok. Comparison: Nathan Lyon's first class average is 36.39
