Post subject: OUR SOCIAL club at the G | |
|
I am really annoyed about the number of opposition supporters who enter OUR social club for drinks ,especially at OUR home games.
I have asked the various doormen why they are allowed in when obviously they are NOT pies fans.
The answer is the same. They have a ticket.
Doesn't it state that the ticket is NOT transferable.
I pay for a legends ticket and I get very little for it.
I resent it and last week, there was a whole family of cats fans there.
The bar service in the social is terrible this year. Slow as treacle and lines are longer than outside.
The only good thing, is that we can drink from a glass.
And while I am at it, why on earth would you have a guitarist singing when no one is in the least interested. It's a footy match and people are just wanting to talk, not yell over extra noise.
I keep meaning to ring the club and I think I will have to. Is it just me or does this bother anyone else.
Apart from that it was a wonderful win.

Which "Social Club" is this you refer to?
The one in the Ponsford, the one at the other end somewhere or the one at the Holden Centre? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Let's pull the violin out. People get their friends in and have been doing it for a very long time. I get into opposition social clubs the same way. This is not soccer as we all get along and there is no need for segregation. Grow some balls and get over it. |

Actually the LEGENDS social club.
It's supposed to be exclusive to Pies legends members. My sister is a member and SHE CAN'T get in.
Why should OPPOSITION fans??????
And I don't have balls .
Don't need them, unlike you. _________________ 'MADE IT LEGENDARY' |

FFS, What Legends social club?
There isn't one just for legends members, there's 3 for Social Club members as I outlined above. Which one are you talking about? _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I don't go due to living in Bendigo but was was thinking the very same thing Culprit. Pray tell me what's wrong with having non Collingwood supporters in a Social club setting? It's meant to be a fun, social occasion, isn't it?
A bit different to having non Collingwood posters causing and stirring shit on a Collingwood board.... _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

I may hate their team but people are people. Win or lose once the game is done you walk away and hope you beat them next time. |

Thank you all. I stand corrected. I was just confused about the fact that I thought you needed to be a social club member to use the social club.
I do beg your pardon! _________________ 'MADE IT LEGENDARY' |

Only Legends members have access to Legends Lounge bar at the G. As it should be. This bar is an extra to the Social Club Bars _________________ B.U.M.S ROCK...That's Ballarat United Magpies Supporters.....Long trip but even longer hangovers! |

So Orie is right then.
If its a Legends Bar for Legends members, there really should not be any opposition supporters. I don't know how you would police that as you would need to start seeing ID that the membership is theirs and whose to say a Geelong supporter doesn't have a Collingwood Legends membership? |

Thank you. That is what I am talking about. I thought it was a legends bar/lounge yet opposition fans are in there. I just don't get it. _________________ 'MADE IT LEGENDARY' |
