The Pies will win by 48 points. We've got our mojo back now, and nothing will get in our way. Go Pies! |

I admit I was more confident going into the game against the Cats - but Pies4shaw has renewed my belief that we are a serious chance in this game.
Another 'underdog' win against a quality opposition might get the Pies some real respect in the footy community - if they win they deserve it! |
Yep, don't put a lot of faith in judging relative merit by how people choose to waste their hard earned. I guess we'll know more by seasons end. When do the Pussies play the Doggies? |

If we can't stop them out of the centre, something they have destroyed us at since the Ascott West days, we will struggle to get within 5 goals of them. If we can quell their centre square dominance (Libba and co.), we should do OK. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Don't reckon there will be any changes, but the next returnee will probably be Goldsack who was BOG in the VFL.
While Sinkers speed would be good, he seems to be recovering slowly from the concussion. |

I like Smith.
I watched the game a second time and was mildly impressed by his game. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

Not sure when they are playing… you should know you have a softie for them so you are probably biased in your elevated opinion of them! I thought they played pretty boring footy against the Giants - maybe they were chasing too much tail - but they certainly looked second rate against the Giants - maybe on their home ground the giants will be doing that to all teams. But dogs really looked like a second rate club - pretty much like last year and nicely highlighted in the thread by a previous poster with their poor record away from the shitbox docklands.
i just recall a year or two back Murphy writing a disrespectful article about the pies and I thought that was annoying and typical of the dog _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Not too many games eh? So you're probably NOT a Dempsey then?

The Dogs according to stats have the best backline in the league.
So we need to stretch them. Bring back Cloke. He won't prove anything playing in the 2's. Bucks allows his favourites to gain form in the Ones. Cloke is a champion and he should be supported. Premiership player and lots more.
Who goes out? Toovey or White can have a rest. Go Pies |

Cloke has just shat in his own nest. He'll need several weeks now in the VFL, busting his gut, to win back some respect from his teammates and coaches, before he should be considered for a recall. |

Jesse White has been very good and Toovey just played his best game for years last week.
They won't be getting dropped. |
