As someone getting on a plane to go overseas next week, I'd bloody hope so too. |
Don't forget to keep the Wi-Fi on during flight, will you? |

So you think that has anything to do with it DTM. I am glad you can afford to go on full cost airlines. I assume that doesn't mean jetstar to Noosa because that is as cheap and nasty as you can get. |
Only 2 Places I fly too would be Hobart or Moorchydoore(Get to Noosa from There). I do use Jetstar
I would not want to go overseas anyway _________________ I am Da Man

Wish they'd hurry up and release all the names so that these people, that have died tragically, matter. |

Fair point, but they haven't found wreckage yet. Maybe watching 7 seasons of Lost still has me hoping. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

That's good then, at least the families of these victims will have closure. And maybe some justice. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

No, don't know any of them. No less 'real' to me though. Still a tragedy. |

Even with the occasional plane dropping like a stone from the sky (for whatever reason), flying is still a far safer thing to do than, eg, driving in the street outside your own house. It's certainly a tragedy for those that were on this plane and also for those who weren't but who knew someone on there and didn't dislike them enough to want them to die in a plane crash. For the rest of us, it's mostly just a news story about an unfortunate concatenation of events and a timely reminder that life is fraught with risks of all kinds. |
