Post subject: EgyptAir Plane CrashReply with quote

An EgyptAir plane travelling from Paris to Cairo has gone missing with 66 people on board. The plane disappeared from radar off the Egyptian coast.

Quote:
Key points:

• EgyptAir flight MS804 vanished while travelling from Paris to Cairo
• It "swerved" and dropped off the radar 16km inside Egypt's airspace
• French president says the plane "crashed"; too early to say cause of disappearance
• Egypt's military denies receiving distress signal
• Search and rescue crews are hunting for the plane, which had 66 people on board

I'm going early on this one.
Fault with the plane causing it to crash, nothing sinister involved.
Condolences to the family's.

Egyptian official seem to suggest it is more likely to be a terror attack rather than a mechanical fault of the plane that caused the crash but at the moment it's speculative.

Here's the travel route of the plane and where it appears to have crashed.

So you think that has anything to do with it DTM. I am glad you can afford to go on full cost airlines. I assume that doesn't mean jetstar to Noosa because that is as cheap and nasty as you can get.

They found it. They are now looking for a very big tube of Airfix glue.

^^^ Well, you'd hope so - it would be a bit disappointing if making sudden 360 degree turns at 27,000 feet, plummeting 22,000 feet and disintegrating was a deliberate design feature developed by Boeing.

As someone getting on a plane to go overseas next week, I'd bloody hope so too.
