Great stuff!!
Is the Jacotine kiddie the son of was it Craig Jacotine!
Also, is the Lyon kiddie son of Gary or Billy B?

I can't wait, a young Brown and Daicos running around in the seniors would be fantastic. I was watching the 1990 highlights today, what a couple of superstars.
It's probably why the AFL changed the father-son rule to a bidding system. Just trying to screw us over again.

Yes. Imagine how unfair it woul be to let Collingwood get 3 father-son players for late draft picks in a couple of years. It would be like if the recruiting of a well-performed team, say Geelong, had been boosted by being gifted a champion fullback, a star centre half forward and the best midfielder of the era as father-son picks. It just wouldn't be right and we couldn't ever let that occur. Just as well it's only hypothetical and has never happened.

And after this little glut of former champions sons have passed through the system there is no way the system will be changed back again to how it was or "tweaked a little" because it "wasn't working" ....... No way in the world .....that would never happen.

Only 3 kids under 70kg, Brown & Daicos in this group
Only 5 kids under 180cm, Brown & Daicos in this group too.
They better have some real talent

They're both taller than Blair and they'll presumably put on weight. Steele Sidebottom is about the same height as them and he's as slow as a coach, so I don't think their physical attributes at this age will be impediments to them running around for 300 AFL games (as Steeke will) in premiership teams if they can play the game to the requisite standard. It's a little surprising that they're both apparently shorter than their fathers, though.

With the changes to the father son rules (which I admit I'm not across yet) is there a chance we won't get Brown and or Daics?

If we really want them we'll get them.

The fact that they are both short won't be such a problem as we'll also have a mid-tallish sized defender in Scharenberg as well as a giant in Keeffe as 'new' recruits next year.

Probably bulldogs or fremantle who have been smartarses at this for years. One year it will bite them on the arse when they will be forced to take whoever and say "Hang on , we don't want them that high."
