Quote:
COLLINGWOOD has suffered another blow with forward Jamie Elliott re-injuring his troublesome back.

Foxfooty.com.au understands Elliott suffered a setback at training last Tuesday night that will more than likely see him miss the rest of the season.

This is the third re-injury Elliot has had. Was flogged in the preseason after he had a back complaint (should have had time off) and then pulled up sore.

Elliot's career is probably in doubt now.

How do you know he was flogged? If I recall it was already a problem, and they tried to build it up but decided it needs rest and rehab.

Your very negative

How would you know, Dave?

This year is a write off anyway, so hopefully he will have the time needed to get better.

Flogged? Agree, all the preseason training reports indicated he was on a very modified and restricted program.

I went to a fair few of the preseason training sessions and I hardly saw him do any physical training at all with the rest of the main group. So how could he have been flogged?

Yep, have to wonder what a person's agenda is when they only ever seek to find fault with the club.

There we go Jez never let your biased one eyed reporting of myths get in the way a good story.
Elliott was never flogged in the preseason. Posters on here were reporting all the way through the preseason he was doing not much on the field. Go and have a look through the training reports many dedicated posters post who actually attend training.
His issue is a has nothing to do with any form of training it's been a issue for ages it's a abnormality in his lower discs.
Mate seriously every time you post you lose more credibility

David your to smart to fall into the trap mate
Freeman left because he was offered more money and a longer contract that was it.
The medial reports suggested his hamstring issues are directly related to a back condition which was only discovered by our club medical staff
Mate you love our club don't go following the lead of the <snip> and bag it

What more has to be said about this particular poster that hasn't already been said somewhere else on Nick's?
As a genuine Collingwood supporter, his unbridled and utter bloody joy at us winning over the weekend is extremely obvious.......... Evil or Very Mad Mad

I don't think he generally cares, he seems set in his ways as are some others that every injury or setback must be overtraining, must be someone on the fitness team that has caused it.

Every report here, and on the website and other news sources suggest he was never overworked or "flogged" but I guess it won't suit the agenda of some to believe otherwise.
