Nothing like feeling useless when your Mrs is ill. Best wishes Skids and hope she is home nagging how messy the place is real soon. Very Happy

In saying that, nothing like http://www.taste.com.au/ for some quick easy recipes and they tell you all the ingredients that you can get from the supermarket. Just season (add salt pepper, sauce etc) to your taste is my tip.

All Good Very Happy

Picked Kelly up after the run.

Made the bed while she was on the lounge.
Brothers birthday. Met Mum, Dad, Bro at the pub, lunch, 3 pints of mid, pick up youngest from work, home.... mum n dad at home visiting Kelly, me n dad drink beer, go shopping at Cloes, daughter 'forgets' to scan water, i'm spewin' as she's laughing about it....

Get home.... bag with eggs and cheese in.... left behind Razz Jessica, that, was karma.

Cooked dinner. Lemon, chilli, garlic marinated chicken breast with steamed veg (corn cob, broccoli & cabbage) topped with Asparagus & gravy.
Sounds good ay Wink

Steamer pan boiled dry during the process ...... it did get better though and dinner was edible Smile

Kelly is now in bed and i'm heading to the shower.... rest day Tuesday.... thank **** Cool

Stir frys a a piss for quick and easy stuff. I got really good when the kids were young at being able to get home at 6pm, watch the news and inhale 3 quick beers until 6:30 to unwind, deal with all the little daily issues and grievances that the kids considered urgent until 6:35 then walk into the kitchen, check out what i had in the fridge and pantry, and dish dinner up by 7:10, usually only using 1 pan. Cool

Try using some sweet chili sauce in your cooking just the basic masterfood one is fine. Gives it a bit of zing without going over the top.

I'll 2nd the sweet chilli!

Easy one for ya, and had everyone swooning! Chicken breast, slice it up, dip in flour/salt/pepper, then dip in egg, then a 50/50 mix panko/moist coconut flakes, cooks in minutes, made a mango, red pepper, red onion, salsa, with some home grown coriander, a touch of hot chilli (I used a grater) and the juice of a lime, cooked up some veggie soup (well I ate it!) and a few roast veggies and some roasted spuds, too easy and a nice Friday feed instead of fatty take away.

On the Cholua, I convinced the old girl to give it a go last night.

Only put a little bit on her dinner, waited a few minutes and asked if she wanted some more. "yes please, that's nice" came the response.

Tonights pork spare ribs are marinated in it. Cool
