Treloar is a wise investment.

A bonafide midfield gun.

Love him to bits.

I confess, I was 1 who questioned why we'd get him rather than take the 2x top end picks but I never doubted that he projected as a very good player. If you're in the same rarified air as Judd at the same age it gives some pretty good insight as to what sort of player you could become.

A bona fide jet

Does this count as getting our "big fish"...

We gave up a lot to get him, but so far, so good...

I'm in neither camp - but I'd quite like to reserve judgement until he has an influence against a good midfield. Next week would be a good time for him to impress.

We didn't recruit him to win the Copeland. Even Beams, who is barely a B grader, won one of those. We recruited Treloar to break lines through the middle of the park and to take the pressure of the real footballers (Pendlebury and Sidebottom).

Precisely mudlark, I was about to make this point myself. BTW, the word lollypop and "perceptive fellow" seems to be in vogue this last few weeks in Nick's. Can't say I have ever heard or read it anywhere else. Is it a Wizard of Oz reference?
