Just watched 360
I was about to smash things and it seemed but then something happened.
Gerard questioned him and basically gave Bucks an out of jail card with a big fat lie of an excuse, but Buck's response was awesome.
Im too tired to quote it right now but I had goosebumps and immediately thought that we will win this weekend.
It was around our best footy is good enough.
Sounds usual boring stuff, but this seemed different.
I tipped Carlton last week but right now i'm bullish on our chances at the Gabba.
Will do the quotes of what was asked and what he said tomorrow. |

I'm with you. You just sit there and think, yeah Bucks is the man. Then we put in a putrid effort in a game and you think, ok, we'll learn from that and move forward. But then it happens again, and then again, and you just think to yourself, this can't keep happening.
I want Nathan Buckley to coach this club. But I also want Collingwood to succeed. Can those two things happen? I'd love nothing more than to see him raise that cup with Pendels, but are we just holding onto a fantasy? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I've also got to point out that in the last day, we've seen two players publicly stand by Bucks.
Cloke and Sidebottom.
We've had another come out and have a crack at the playing group in Treloar.
When you hear these things, it sways you a bit. But are they just giving the standard response as not to come across as unprofessional? _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

In the good old days, when people came out and were 100% behind the coach, he was as good as gone.
Hoping for the same. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

No one is developing under Bucks - not one player. He talks the talk and talks it well I might add, but maybe the bloke is way out of his depth here and doesn't know what to do. He's captaining a sinking ship at the moment. |

Yes. Why Monco Matt's delayed reaction? I punch the wall during games. |

Too many times he has blamed the players for bad losses, critical errors.
Too many times he will take credit for honourable losses.
The players defend him in a generic out of the box manner.
Getting rid of him immediately allows Burnsy and the football club a free shot at the stumps. Burnsy will be under no pressure himself but has the opportunity to turn things around over a reasonable period of time.
All that needs to happen is Gubby has a heart to heart with Adams basically confirming Burnsy would likely be a refreshing change and that no other standout candidate exists.
Following that they probably only need two or three days to plan the communications strategy.
We don't need to again be put through the players of this great club trying to lose games of football against the worst of our enemies. |
Are you serious? |
110%
The article about Aish is just another player relationship catastrophe at the hands of Buckley.
What evidence do u need?
Will u believe if Pendles comes out and sets fire to an effigy of FIGJAM in front of the Bob Rose statue with the rest of the squad chanting Burn Burn Burn.
Is that what it is going to take to get rid of the most unsuccessful coach in the history of this football club? |
Yeah I don't think he's as solid with the players as the media lines coming out the club either. If he was they would give it a fighting try. And they ain't! That's what pissies me off, not the losing, young kids, missing players (injury or WTF selections) you expect losing, but not quitting. We have some quality players, and some good grunts to do the hard work, but they all look like headless chooks. Just let them play footy, why do we need to reinvent the game completely? When will the stubborn Bugger realise it's not working? As for not having to motivate the players, gees, give me a break! Especially a team of kids. There should be a lot more direction out there, a lot more back slapping. I want to see Sidey smile again as he tears down the field. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

He probably has the gift of the gab, people like this can sell ice to the Eskimoes & sand to the Arabs with ease.
My OH watched that program on Fox Footy Last night (which ever one he was on) & came away saying yep "Buckley can coach" whereas after the Scum game on Saturday, he was adamant Buckley had NFI!
So go figure!
Buckley may be mesmerising to some, but I ain't falling for his bullshit talk!
As far as I'm concerned, you might have the talk but you need to have the walk...

Don't read too much into what a player says in the media.
The ultimate judge of whether a player or players is behind a coach is their actions on game day.
This playing group is not behind Buckley. |

Sidebottom and Fasolo are playing their best ever footy under Bucks. |

Sidey used to smile the whole time he played, and I think he's more consistent, but not his best footy ever. He will really shine when the rest of the players seem to have a reason to play too. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

That is incorrect on Sidebottom. His best was under Mick in the drawn GF's. |
