This is a great chance for Grundy to put his stamp on the comp. Throw your weight around and show Kruezer why we didn't sign him.

I'll be looking forward to see Smith in his 3rd game.

I still feel that White is very lucky, but wish him a good game.

Aish is also quite lucky after missing last week as an emergency. He needs to have a big game and he should be able to get plenty of the ball.

I hope to see Greenwood run with Gibbs. He needs to be shutdown. Don't let us down Greeny.

I'd like someone to go toe to toe with Dale Thomas. Steele is good enough to run with him, is that a silly idea to give Steele a defensive role? Or is it silly to suggest Howe run with him if Dale runs off half back? Although....

I'd like to see Howe deliver on the scoreboard. I'd like to see some hard ball wins and score involvements. And hey why not a MOTY contender too?

On paper, we have this team well covered. But you should never ever take Carlton not seriously. Even when they are the wooden spooners. Just hit them hard at the contest Pies. Hit the scoreboard early and don't take the foot off until the final siren has gone. I want an Anzac Day type result. But again, Carlton have to be taken seriously. Just don't drop this Pies.

Crocker is in his first game so he is given a break - but I hope he can get the ball because quite a few of the newbies can go missing for long periods without the pill! Which is understandable but needs to change if we are to improve! - Broomy was pretty weak last week for what he can deliver as was De Goey - maybe a spot further up the ground can get the ball in Broomy's hands and give him some confidence and then he can go forward now and then and get some goals!

I am expecting the Pies to come out firing - 1st qtr is vital for our team - Sensing Howe and Faz might get 10 between then this week and Moore will cause Bloozers a lot of headaches.
