The difference for me, under Malthouse Carlton oversold where they are as a team. Malted Milkhouse played a massive part in that too.

Same thing with Carlton is now happening with us. We believed we should be challenging for a flag and we're lead to believe that our list will take us there.

Bolton has come in, said they need to rebuild and is showing signs of progress. Carlton fans accept that and know they are going to have good and bad days.

Bolton is going to look better than Bucks for now. If we were a top eight side then had Carlton lost today the story of Bolton would be different.

I wouldn't try compare the two, when clearly we are both in the same redevelopment phase but that's never been oversold to Carlton supporters.

If Bucks is to be removed, I don't even want Scott Burns as interim coach. Collingwood have burned my liking of 'fave sons' being coach.

Look Brenny.
It is the structures that tell the story.
I watched today how often Carlton put players on the fat side
all game and they were primed for the big switch.
There was never ever enough Pie players to defend this switch.
The Blues only pulled the trigger on this once or twice, with one switch resulting in a goal.
In the last quarter there was always 2 or 3 Carlton players in front of Kruz
with no Pie players next to them in the boundary throw ins.
How many times did Casbolt have a midget on him.
On and on it goe's with the pathetic and stupid current Collingwood setup. really wonder how some posters are totally blind.

I don't disagree. I don't even understand how the heck they could leave Simpson on his own down back. He destroyed us and nobody looked accountable.

I don't even know what the hell our game plan is - handball by the looks of it then bomb it long to 30-40 out in the 50... Provided we haven't handballed to a 1 on 3 contest beforehand.

But the average list is partly to blame also.

But you can't tell me if the club hadn't sold us premiership glory and top 8 and winning culture bla bla bla over the last two years and told us that we had bottomed out and we need to develop, then half of these arguments and discussions we wouldn't be having.

I agree Bucks is done... He taken us to our worst situation since Shaw was coach and as far as I'm concerned damaged his reputation.

But PnC is right too, it's not going to fix our situation.

We will probably bottom out further and then we need to rebuild...

But I'm all for that. We're not going to be lied to and we not going to be sold premierships when it's not in the near future.

I can handle that more than being lied to and sold premiership glory in three years.

And why wasn't Simpson covered... It staggers me.

Yes I agree with you... Bucks was out coached.

Fair points Brenny.
With a new coach we may not win another game all year.
But a new coach will give me and other supporters one thing ..Hope!

We will not bottom out further, you quite simply would struggle to play with less cohesion less direction and much less heart than what we seen today, watch it again if you dare to get a full grasp of just how woeful we are....nah we will stay about the same and that will be hell enough.
