History. He's played 11 seasons in the competition and is into his 12th. Even when he was playing in a towering team at the peak of its powers, he never kicked 5 goals. He obviously had a lot of the ball yesterday (21 kicks, 31 disposals) but only kicked the 1 goal.
Never say never, of course - but he hasn't kicked 5 goals in a match in any of his 187 games, so he's unlikely to start now. |
