Another 16 H&A games and potentially finals.

We've also wasted the prime years of one of the league's best mids in Pendlebury. Peak playing years are 24-29 generally speaking ... he's missed finals for most of these years.

from here on in we need to watch very carefully on who makes the cut and whom gets the chop. what also needs to happen for recruitment sake is identify who we need to fill those on the chopping board. injuries have caused us to hold our hand on players that are proving time and again from keeping us at arms length from making the 8 or showing on-feild improvement,
for example here is a list of players who have had LTI's that have not regained form for what ever reasons. it could be that there only ordinary at best or the game as evolved to make them redundant as of there performances.

nat brown, toovey, sinclair, goldsack, macaffer, greenwood.

now these are some players who are currently on the LTI list that haven't played much at all and haven't cut there teeth so to speak in senior footy therefore making the recruiters reluctant to trade the above players.

scharenberg, ramsey, elliot, williams, marsh.

fix the injury situation and we might be able to field strong teams again.

Looking into my crystal ball... this is what I see....

COLvsCAR 1
BRIvsCOL 1/2
COLvsGEE 0
COLvsWBU 0
COLvsPTA 1/2
MELvsCOL 0
COLvsFRE 1
CARvsCOL 1
GWSvsCOL 0
ADEvsCOL 0
COLvsNTH 0
COLvsWCE 0
RICvsCOL 1/2
WBUvsCOL 0
COLvsGCF 1/2
HAWvsCOL 0

So about 5 more wins - realistically, and based on what we've seen so far this year, for a grand total of about 7/15 overall by years end.

I guess we'll see.

Here's what I see:

BRIvsCOL 1
COLvsGEE 0
COLvsWBU 1

MELvsCOL 1

GWSvsCOL 0
ADEvsCOL 0
COLvsNTH 0
COLvsWCE 1
RICvsCOL 1
WBUvsCOL 0
COLvsGCF 1
HAWvsCOL 1

That would give us a total of 12 wins and a spot in the 8. I just sense that unlike previous years, we'll finish the season strongly, as our lineup becomes settled and players gel more as a team. The big upset will be when we beat the Dorks in the final round.

Since you are so prescient can you tell me the winning Lotto numbers for next week?
To be able to predict form/injuries months in advance is remarkable

Beat Carlton twice, beat Richmond again, beat the Bears, GWS and Hawthorn, and I will be satisfied. Would be nice to beat the doggies once, too.

Any numbers you like, bet the farm if you're feeling lucky that specific day... I won't stop you cause you're a betting man obviously...

It's called an educated guess dude, if I knew it was going to be 100% correct from now till then... do you think I'd be typing to you right now?!? Now if you could actually read, you would have noticed the part where it says 'based on what we've seen so far this year' but that would only be if you could actually read... now try again.. read... I know you can..

So you're saying Rudeboy is uneducated and that his assessment of what we've seen this year is just a crock.... interesting.

One team we do match up against well and generally win is the team sitting undefeated on top f the ladder👌🏿

We need some sort of register for Naysayers and one for those of us keeping the faith. We need a custodian of this too who will make people accountable at seasons end. I am f@cking sick of the tossers on this site who are running around with their hair on fire saying the sky is falling and will be the first back on the band wagon after a few wins. FFS this is not Richmond, but some on here would put Richmond's fickle supporters to shame. I know that everyone is entitled to their opinion but this is still a Collingwood board and I thought people on here were meant to be supporters of Collingwood.

I'd like to see Cloke back in the senior side playing good football again.
Aish return to the side after picking up form in the VFL and making a positive contribution to the team by the end of the season.
Cox continue his development in the senior side.
Witts get over his hand injury and put together a few solid games in the VFL before returning to the senior side and sharing ruck duties with Grundy.
De Goey start turning it on in games and establish himself as one of the up and coming mids in the competition.
Sier show something in the VFL that justified our using pick 32 on him.
Wills, Phillips and Crocker continue pushing their case for selection in the senior team.
Scharenburg and Swanny make a surprise return to the senior side before the end of the season.
No more injuries please.
If all the above eventuates then I'll worry about our win loss ratio and reassess where we're going next year.

That's a shame, it was the first thing I thought you've ever posted that might actually have some foundation in fact and you disown it...
