They changed the rules last September and have stopped issuing official warnings for speeds between 11-15kms over on the grounds of a good driving record alone. They will consider an official warning if special circumstances apply (you didn't have the capacity to understand you were breaking the law because of mental illness or a serious drug/alcohol addiction)

Thanks Bucks5. Yeah, I wouldn't have been more than 5 km/h over (it was a roadworks zone that I thought had already finished, which is one reason why I think I might have just imagined seeing a flash) and as far as I know I've never had a speeding fine in my 10 years of driving. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

If you were 5klm over you probably won't get a ticket, they give I think 3klm error margin, so I doubt you'd get one for 2klm over _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

They allow 3k margin for error then do you if you're still over after that.
I got done for reported speed 56k in a 50 zone, claimed speed 53k, Cucking Funts. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

If your outlaws have left the state brilliant. If he gets a fine just pay it and he keeps the points. They drop off after a few years for minor offences.A mate and I made a fortune "owning "up to speeding offences like 4km over the limit from a commercial traveller. My mate had 2 strokes and didn't drive but was happy to take the points for the cost of the fine plus a hundred bucks a point plus a hundred extra and so was I. My slate is clean and I live in another country. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

That's half the problem, I forgot to drop it into neutral in the 50k zone. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
