They aren't showing games there anymore due to a poor turnout in the first two games. Seems that the Big Group have done their job when they priced members out of the market.

The Big Group have their own function on Saturday night when it should be opened to Social Club members.

Maybe Ed can get the Libs to hold a campaign rally there.

I am sure the Corporates would love it.

So now we have a new centre that won't show this weeks viewing of the match not only for the social club members but to any tom dick or harry.

This is what you get at Storm

Behind glass viewing, live entertainment and corporate access. A family-friendly environment with kids activities corner.

Hot food and drinks are available for purchase in the room. All Club House members will have access to the Social Club function held in the same room immediately following each home game.

Level two corporate seating between the Try Line and 30m line at 11 home games played at AAMI Park during the 2016 NRL Premiership Season
2016 membership kit
2016 exclusive member Club House scarf
Priority access to purchase finals tickets if Melbourne Storm participate (must join before June 30 cut off to qualify)
Free entry to the Social Club function held at the Club House immediately following home games
Invitation to exclusive premium member function (registration required)

Notice it is kid friendly!
Is there a kids activity centre at the social club?

My local club recently built a plus $5/6 million Pavillion. Is a wonderful facility and it gets used by a variety of clubs when football isn't on.

But come Saturday, it has exclusive use by the football club. Members and supporters aren't price gouged, the club has a raffle, they sell beer and the community of the club come together. This community feeling underpins why the club operates.

You look at Collingwood and their 'community' feeling. They price gouge members at the social club, they have an elite and high society organisation make profits off a facility that was built on members funds and they only cater this facility to Melbourne's 'society'

Eddie McGuire has sold the club out to his Toorak mates. A shameful act.

It shows you something when even the diehards wouldn't put their hands in their pockets for a 55 dollar burger.
I come from the country and everything use to evolve around the footy club.
Where is the physical heart of collingwood?
Is it Vic Park?
Is it the new glasshouse and westpac centre?
From the outside they look uninviting, there are no big welcome signs.
Nothing.
I know there are council issues and parking issues but lets say you are a visitor from interstate where the hell would you go to get a taste of Pieland?

Eddie told us at the Members Forum that Collingwood members would have exclusive access to the Social Club. He also said prices would be cheap and they would recognise the efforts of the members who funded the facility.

He has sold out on us.

that's not a lie. when the social club is open it is exclusively available to the social club members. prices are quite good compared to other establishments.

I went to the VFL game against Casey. They were selling a burger for $14.

Went over the road and sat in the MCC Dining Room, a burger was $10.

You are distorting the truth.

Perhaps you should keep your MCC membership and just let the Collingwood one lapse?

How come you know the difference between a tip and a lecture but don't know the simple difference between an opinion and a fact? Question Rolling Eyes Confused

Why ever did you think I was making a comment about your money?
