Don't know if this has been revealed yet, but Tyson is out for 4 weeks with a broken thumb in a training mishap.

Source, straight from the horses mouth.

Yet another injury.

Time is up Tyson! between illness, muscle, bone and form it's fair to say that it may be best to give it away. Your endeavour and passion has always been admired plus your 2010 participation. But you have never put 20+ games together in a season without issues and with your 29th birthday 3 weeks away, I don't see anything changing.

Depth player at best now. Too injury prone, takes too many games to find form. Unfortunate that he can't stay injury free cos he's a handy plug fill.

I really can't see his frequent fumbling getting any better with a broken thumb- for the past 2 seasons he has been fumblesack, rather than the money-bags or the sack attack.

Is "training mishap" just the conspiracy theorist's expression for what the rest of us call an "accident"?

Yet another frisbee accident.

But let's blame Davoren, seems to be the popular reaction to any injury of any kind. Laughing

Agreed. It's a close contest between he and Frist for best 2-touch player in our team (sometimes 3- and 4-touch).

Tyson Goldsack was interviewed by 3AW before the ANZAC DAY game on Monday and yes he confirmed he had a broken thumb.

So, he outed the Football Department's conspiracy on public radio?

I get it. Collingwood can if we outed the Football Department's conspiracy on public radio.
