Yes, Toovey gets first crack at Darling - whether he can still do the job is another question but Brown and Reid are too slow to keep with him.

Frost can keep up with him.

I'm more worried about who gets their small forwards.

Varcoe is already out.

There are three to be omitted from:

11 Jarryd Blair
14 James Aish
27 Matthew Goodyear
28 Ben Sinclair
29 Tim Broomhead
34 Alan Toovey
37 Brayden Maynard

Toovey has a good record on princess so he's a certain starter, outs for mine are Maynard-Broomhead-Goodyear

Toov's record on Darling is a good reason to play him, I think Frost is also a good matchup though with Brown taking Kennedy.

With the Eagles forward line I think Maynard has to be out, would probably prefer Smith out as well but he's been picked in the 18. The game's going to be determined on whether we can handle their spread anyway.

So which one I would go with the head of the Broom!

Look I know we all deep down want a Collingwood win but does anyone else here feel that getting to within 3-4 goals of the Weagles on their home dump would be a really top effort, taking into consideration as to where the two sides sit at the moment? Or would it bring things back to square one, calling for Buck's sacking, we are totally crap etc? This is a genuine question, not designed to troll or cause further division here. Just asking a question and asking for sincere, honest feedback from everyone.

After Monday's win the team finally have, for the first time this season, the significant benefit of going into a game without a lot of unknowns , doubts and maybes overshadowing them. They now know they can work as a unit. Still a bit rough at the edges but they are positive and know they are capable of winning this game.

So I expect a full on four quarters effort. Of course there's another team out there on their home ground trying to win too so its not going to be easy. But I expect West Coast's spirit and endeavour to be off a bit, a touch lacklustre, after the coach came out this week and said the team's rooted if it can't win away games. If you were an Eagle's player wouldn't you be thinking you'd better keep something in reserve for the next interstate trip? Wouldn't want to offend the coach.

So, I think West Coast might have the foot off the pedal for critical periods of the game, and Collingwood is in just the right mongrel frame of mind to pounce on the opportunity.

The trip away to Perth will also be a good bonding experience for the team - perpetuating and locking in the good vibe coming out of the Anzac day win.

played wce at subi 15 times for only 4 wins. they're just numbers but they show the club does not win often at the ground. that said, we can add to our once very good interstate record. just need to trust the systems that worked well on monday.

I'd be surprised and disappointed if Collingwood isn't closer than 3 or 4 goals in the second half. Keeping it touch.

If the final score is more than a 3 or 4 goal loss then so be it, but final scores don't always tell the story of a game, and I think this game might be one of them.

I'm hoping we win but playing them on there own dung heap isn't in our favour
Not many teams of over there and win
I would be happy with a Stirling 4 qtrs effort and show some decent ball movement and improved skills
If we do that I won't be concerned about the score board as such it will take care of itself
In saying that anything can happen these days in the AFL
So I tip the pies by 8 points with Pendles getting 3 Charlie votes and Moore kicking 4 goals

I'm not expecting to get within 40 points...more if Buckley again chooses not to run someone with Priddis.
