He still has the 5 or so Copelands and the Club games record to go before we trade him to St Kilda. |

A win while nice, isn't the most important aspect of this game.
We have to show we are improving after that woeful 4 week start.
Beating Essendon proves nothing, especially when we only really played to potential for a half.
The Weagles are struggling, especially away from home, so it will be interesting to see how they respond at home too.
I'd take a 3-4 goal loss right now, harsh but I would, and I reckon that would show we are sort of back on track. |

No Cloke please & I'd persists with Aish, he has a level head and will only get better. I'd bring in Broomhead for Varcoe. If Greenwood is rubbed out then may need to take a chance and bring in Wills. |

I forgot that Langdon should return as well as Sinclair.
I'd be shocked if Greenwood gets rubbed out for that tap. He'll probably cop a fine and have a suspended sentence.
In: Sinclair, Langdon
Out: Varcoe (inj), Aish |

Cloke needs to dominate the VFL before returning, can't just gift his spot back. _________________ Defender...........

The side you listed 35 is far too tall, cant play Cox, Grundy, Moore and Cloke in the same side.
We can't drop Aish at the moment, the club spent alot to get him down from Brisbane, for now they have to presist as he wont find his feet in the seniors playing in the VFL. The other problem isnwe just dont have the talent in the VFL pushing for selection. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Big test for the boys this one, with some renewed confidence we really need to push them, we don't have to win but we need to be competitive. _________________ Defender...........

Agreed. He can't come back after five touches in the twos. I'd like to see him kick seven or eight goals in a couple of games before they bring him back. |

P4S you missed the point. I wasn't expecting him to have 50 and kick 8 I was sugg sting his involvement needed to be the same across 4qtrs. I wouldn't expect him to have 22 and kick 4 goals in th first half of all games but remember who we were playing they are a rabble and we are only a couple steps in front of them.
My expectation would be to have around 30 and kick 1 or 2 but have it spread out over 4 qtrs
No point being a world beater for 50 minutes and do next to nothing the next 50.
My point is players like Pendles Swanny Ablett etc do it for 4qtrs nearly every week over a season that's the challenge for Sidey going forward to lift himself into those realms |

Nor should he. Cloke needs to find his form in the VFL. Very simple solution for him. _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

Statistically he was the least effective player on the ground in the VFL, damning!!
Not sure what's going on with him but players don't fall off the cliff that quickly. _________________ Defender...........
