The recruitment team has done its job. We have a good list, albeit with the bulk of talent a couple years of entering the peak years. The development and coaching teams have yet to get that talent to combine well. The hardest and longest tasks are done. But the results have to come soon and I don't mean win a few wins against bottom teams. I also won't be satisfied with honourable losses against top teams. We must start winning and then make a habit of it. Nothing less is good enough with this list.

The only thing we have over rated is the coach.

Once he is gone - improvement will be swift - this is a top-8 list.

None of us doubt that.

Yes we cashed in our 2017 chips for this years fish.
We paid a very high price for Treloar.
He is worth a lot but I am not sure he was worth that much!
It is interesting that a certain poster on this thread rarely posts after a bad lost.
He comes on the next day when things settle down and starts with his subtle digs at other posters who dare to question the the party line.
I like Lazza at least he is honest.
He gives the SS a roast but at least he is honest and he is not a sniper like this other bloke.

Treloar and Aish are the least of our problems

Its injuries, fitness, tactics,

the form or absence of our elites (Cloke, Swan, Elliot, even Pendles)
and the same with some others like Varco, Steele, Tooves, Caff, Blair, Howe, Marley, Witts (all missed games or are down on form).
The failure of some younger players to come on this year (Adams, Crisp)

So we've got elites down on form or missing games, critical mid tier players missing games or down on form, younger blokes failing to come on, every level of the list all of a sudden appears to lack confidence and be in crisis.

Watch the board when we have a bad loss.
He really is a prolific blogger from the lollipop brigade.

Shucks you guys, I love you too!! Embarassed Embarassed

Let’s face it, I like to believe that most of the posters here are actually Collingwood supporters although I'm not that naive or gullible to believe that every poster here fits that category. In fact I'm certain that there are non Collingwood fans here whose main objective is to hurt the club as much as possible. However that is a problem for the mods, not me.

I never put anyone on ignore because I actually love a strong debate and if it means getting into the gutter to fight, so be it. However I'm always honest and try to say things consistently but I'm never going to be totally bloody perfect like a few others here Laughing

I don’t know all the solutions, and I never will. I can only offer honest opinions that posters can accept or strongly disagree with, and that’s cool with me Cool Cool

Go 'pies!!

Yes Lazza I loved your roast on the SS the other day - you really let us have it.
It was real passion and straight from the heart.
Well done.
And I am glad the mods kept out.
I am trying to be on my best behaviour this year and not get any yellow or red cards.

Contrary to what some weird posters here say, I actually like differing views/opinions because it gets me thinking about the other side of an issue.
For example as a rabid (loony maybe!!) left winger, I daily frequent the Andrew Bolt forum to read what the right wing lunatic thinking is on various issues. I find the Bolt forum/site informative, educative and seriously funny. Laughing It cracks me up on a daily basis and I get a really fantastic laugh. Razz

So having passion and contrary opinions are good as long as the right of confronting opinions, challenging their views and the right to reply is available.
