Only flaw in that list Jojo, is that Eddie would have to be Governor-Generalled by Pert, in order for MM to consider returning.
Don't think Nanette would cop his return to the fold though...
Mark Williams would be locked out until 2017 i'd say.
But i'd give him two years to address the discipline and skills. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

^ If Bucks goes, Eddie has to follow.
He has to. He orchestrated this whole move and as much as I love Eddie and think he is great for our club, he must also be removed for putting us through this. _________________ Heeeeeeeeeeeeeey, we want some Bayley! |

Totally agree. It needs to be a complete clean out. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

I don't think Eddie has to go - Bux had good credentials with coaching roles outside of the Pies and some good form at Collingwood also. Didn't he bring the fwd press to the club. He talks well and we know he has a great footy brain and was a superb footballer who brought his A game when needed.
Eddie has to ensure the club has sponsors and money etc and now needs to put the pressure on Bux. If Eddie does nothing this year then he will go down with Bux the way things are headed…
I am hoping Bux and the team turn it around over the next month with intensity and a man on man game style that will suit our team anyway. Take a chance and give it a go - no matter what happens it can't get much worse than the current rubbish! _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!!

No a change in attitude by Eddie is needed
He is a figurehead and has passion for the pies
His passion has over ruled good decisions
Keep the passion change the structure and farking keep out of operational issues
Let others make those decisions then sell the story!!
But if he can't change then yes agreed |

Yeah I agree, who else can replace Eddie? He just needs to grow a pair and bone a Collingwood hero! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Get the next best footy brain going from someone with a good coaching apprenticeship. Someone who knows the modern game requirements because the current lot clearly don't.
Harvey - Even St Kilda didn't want him.
Lockyer - Failed as VFL coach.
Rocca - Enough said.
Hart - Since he's been there we have no defensive structure or kick in plan.
Stuart Dew comes to mind.
And he won't take any crap. _________________ Jatsad - That is all |

The sporting world is full of good leaders and administrators. I'm sure there are more than a few more than capable. Why should Ed never be challenged? I love his passion and what he has done for the club, but he can't be here forever and what he out in place has not worked over the last few years and things are getting even worse. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

I like that idea. At least he has premiership experience AND has been involved with three successful clubs.
Going with yesterday's coaches just reeks of panic. Dew would be the type of coach we should be looking at. _________________ Hearing the 'Black & White Army' roar is the greatest sound in the world. |

Don't want any ex Collingwood players. Needs to come from outside. In the last 30 years Rose, Shaw and Buckley all achieved sweet FA as coaches. _________________ Magpie Jumper Gallery:

Or Buck's do the honourable thing.
I think this would be the best result for all.
It does not need to be bloody.
Buck's could simply offer to change his responsibilities to a player development role on staff.
He does seem to have an aura about him for some of the younger guys.
It appears bewildering that their has never been a hint of any sort of independent review.
Many must be too scared/wise to really be critical of any club operation, given the enormous clout that Eddie has. It must compromise honest feedback. Who knows how people really feel internally.
From those who have left Collingwood in the last 5 years I don't think anyone is on the record as saying things are great. Anyone who has spoken has been done over by supporters and media.
If Eddie hasn't the feedback of an independent review he may be as confused as anyone?
Maybe there is no Plan B?
Maybe he has been too busy knifing Fitzpatrick and running sales pitches for multi billion dollar deals with David Evans?
Attendance and membership and on-field results are all falling off a cliff.
Our trend is horrific and it will get ugly if this isn't the bottom.
Eddie working on FOX now. |

Of the more high profile assistants Ratten instantly comes to mind.
Of the low profile ones then Leigh Tudor has a quality resume. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Someone young with experience and a proven track record for success. No more past champion players. As great as they were, it generally doesn't work. We need to think outside the box and go with someone different. A lot of clubs are looking at Hawthorn's assistants and poaching them. Bomber, Ratten, Dew. Buckley is not the answer. |
