I am getting sick of him Just keep Bashing Collingwood and the Player group everytime he is on TV.
Just called Darcy Moore a 1 Trick Pony on Footy Classifieds.
He has No Idea what so ever

He was 100% right, take away Moores run at the ball and he'll struggle to out body more mature opponents, just like all 20 year old players.
He was being critical of WC, not Moore.

There is literally nothing wrong with what he said. Darcy does not have a Plan B if you stop him from running and jumping at the ball.
That will come with time, though...

Exactly right......
Blatant bloody double standards as usual. And posters here nearly always challenge, confront and disagree with the hack media bashing us but are mostly quiet as mice when it comes to dealing with our very own Collingwood club, coach and player haters/bashers. THESE are the real culprits.
Go figure.........

Media last night on Talking Footy and Luke Darcy asked who outside the 8
were the better
Forgot which of Watson or Carey said what but one said Bombers and the
other said Pies
Essendon based on their returning players and Collingwood for its much improved midfield
There was a thing--a % estimate of 4 sides Us ,Carlton ,Essendon and Tigers
Essendon 40% chance of entering 8
Carlton/Collingwood both 30%
Tigers 8%

other said Pies
Essendon based on their returning players and Collingwood for its much improved midfield

Exactly, made the same comment myself earlier in the season about him needing separation. Still a couple of preseasons away from having the physical strength to have a more contested impact. |

I watched it too mate. I was gobsmacked when I heard Watson say he rated Collingwood as the best chance in 2017. Had never heard him be complimentary of them before. Maybe he is just putting pressure on us and taking it off the Peptides.

Matthew was a very accomplished footballer. A great kick for goal (I wish Cloke could kick like him) and an out champion forward of our game. 3 Coleman medals ( 2 with over 100 goals), 270 games and over 900 goals. The guy knows what he is talking about and is very institute. One of the few in the media that will actually chat with you.
To say he has no idea is wrong. |
