Apparently the AFL have just approved Cloke's use of the glove.

No wonder he stuck 12 marks in wet conditions.
Careless of him to have used this product |
Back in the day we just used to put Grippo on our hands before the game and at half time. http://www.henselite.com.au/products/84-polishes-grips/1325-grippo-jar
If you don't think AFL players use this or something similar now, I know a bridge for sale, cheap.

Lots of players have a big smear of it somewhere on their jumpers so they can top up as needed but I don't know that it has ever been an issue with using it.

I'm reading some seriously idiotic comments online that the glove is the reason Cloke returned to form. Forget about the great ball movement / delivery and his improved work rate. Yeah that had nothing to do with it. It was all the magical sticky glove. Give me a break and get a life people! Not to mention we played Cloke, Moore and White all together. Very mobile forward line. If we had moved the ball poorly as we have done all season, then Cloke would have three opponents and the glove would matter little.

My mistake....it's the last time I'll take notice of my 85 yr old mother, who told me the news bulletin said the AFL had approved his glove.

Lets give a bit of credit to Trav too and the way he attacked the ball.
The glove wasn't helping him in the first quarter but the longer the game went on the better he got mostly due his confidence increasing and the consequent improvement in how he went for marks.

I used to use it, but rubbing gum leaves between your hands or dousing your hands in soft drink did the same thing.
But if you want hardcore shit squirt a bit of selleys space invader into your palm and rub, but be warned, if you touch the ball they'll have to remove from your hands with the aid of a surgeon, i accidently got some on my hands last year, litteraly took days to get it off.

Hah, that aerosol foam shit? That is seriously sticky.
People who do body waxing could save a lot of effort in warming up wax and just use that stuff. Might not work well for a brazillian or a BSC though.

Yep, nastiest stuff i've had the mispleasure of messing with, nothing got it off, used thinners-petrol-rock soap all to no avail.
