I think the committee will spend a lot of time pondering whether Macaffer and Gault get another go this week.
also, how long is Witts out for? |
Has recovered from the split webbing, expected to be available this week. |

Yes, particularly if we happen to have a light training run on Friday. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

at this time of the week and on paper I have Varcoe to cover for Blairs
output and Sideways to replace Caff for ability. _________________ no second chances |

as i have said, i don't think there will be changes but i do agree that the match committee will have a very robust discussion about the retention of the two you have named. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Varcoe in Caff out easy
Sidey will come straight back in but IMO he should be given a huge kick in the a$$
For a guy who just signed a long term deal on good coin getting rubbed out for something so stupid isn't right. That's twice in a couple years now and he needs to get that rubbish out of his game.
Also he needs to fix his disposal. For a player deemed elite by so many his disposal under even limited pressure isn't up to scratch let alone some held in such high regard by so many here
At his best he is a match winner but thI difference in output between his good games and bad games is miles apart and he needs to have that gap down to next to nothing.
Pendles and Swan can have a bad game but it doesn't stink the place up like Sidey's
He comes in most likely for Aish but he had better not be rubbed out again any time soon or he should be made to play some seconds football |

The only significance of Sidebottom's suspension is that we'll have to wait a couple of extra rounds to see him play his 400th game and the only way his place in the team could be in jeopardy is if Pendlebury was cloned 21 times and all the clones were fit and ready to play.
Seriously, he is possibly the least-appreciated champion ever to pull on a Collingwood jumper. |

I can't believe yet again how careless he can be. _________________ no second chances |

And right there is yet another perfect illustration of my point.
Happily, for us, the Club routinely gives all of its "foot soldiers" 5-year contract extensions to keep them from being poached by every other team in the competition. |

There'll either be a lot of marks inside 50 or a lot of crumbing practice for Broomhead. |

Well, yes - but I was trying to be positive. At Port games, based on recent miserable experiences, there's also the possibility that the ball won't really be in our half of the ground.... |
