Late call in today after darcy felt sore in the warm up.

23 disposals @ 82%, 7 tackles and 3 inside 50's.

Good game from the boy.

Saw the footage of he and Bucks chatting in the rooms after the match. Both looked very happy.

Tackling an underrated part of his game. Possibly his best asset at the moment.

He is already a stronger lad than he was last year, and now his tackles are sticking. Easily his best game.

Has great instinct and feel for the game, opened up the field with concise 45 degree passes inboard on several occasions today, top game

Interesting comments from Bucks in the presser. Daicos said to him after the game that he felt he was able to action the feedback from the match committee immediately.

Also he was crook last night and during the game.

Best game I’ve seen him play and hard to see him being dropped for next game after that.

It is very special hearing Sandy Roberts on foxtel say "Daicos". Sends a little shiver up the spine.

‘..Nearly runs out of room... it’s a goal’

So nice to have a Daicos running around out there for blokes of our generation. Reckon we’ll have another one soon too.

Had career best numbers today. Made the most of his late inclusion.

I've felt watching Josh at training, that you could build a forward line around him much like we did with his father, Peter. Unfortunately at the moment he doesn't have the body mass to compete in a big way. North play a very open game so the light on players have a chance. West Coast close the game up so Josh struggles a bit. The best of Josh will come in 2-3 years time when he puts on about 5kg of muscle.
