Interesting that SA doesn't seem to have a spinner - Sayers, Worrall, Mennie, Opie (second gamer), Carey and even Cosgrove are all quicks/seamers.

Alex Ross is named as an offie but hasn't bowled a ball in his first class career, of 13 matches. Lehmann the younger bowls like his dad but has only bowled 2 overs in 9 matches.

I see Travis Head is an offie. 14 wickets @ 58.85 r.p.w. in 43 matches shouldn't strike terror into oppo batsmen.

SA 7/290. Ross and Carey put on a hundred-run partnership but Carey fell caught Handscomb, bowled Holland (Holland 23 overs, 6 maidens, 3/69) for 50 from 73 balls and Fawad Ahmed just had Mennie caught behind for 1. I'm not sure why Ahmed has only bowled 3 overs, so far.
