Every year it seems many supporters overestimate the team.

I had us finishing between 7-10 at the start of the year, so I was bitterly disappointed with a 12th place finish, but in reality our season was cooked within the first seven rounds.

On the upside, we were a much better team to watch in the second half of the year so hopefully we build on from that next year. Our youth is coming through well, but we need some experience to accompany them especially with Swan, Toovey and Macaffer all retiring.

Men & women of Australia. We have a winner:

MJ23 picked Twelfth.

However he posted in April & the season commenced in late March.

What does a simple judge do?

Correspondence will be entered into. The stewards are mulling the time capsules.

Having N.Brown and M.Williams kick out from full back proved to me that we still have no real plan moving the ball from defense after a behind. Defense is a BIG concern. If we don't win the ball out of the centre we struggles big time. The Geelong and Dogs games pre season showed how dangerous we are when we get the pill inside F50 quickly from the centre square. Bothe 3rd quarter comebacks were a result of finally winning centre clearances. If Reid and Elliott somehow play more than 12 games each, we could make top 6.

I knows me footy.

Someone else picked 1-18 as well Wink

Can't help thinking a fit Swan would have got us over the line in those close games we lost, and certainly evened up a few more of the contests that we lost by a several goals.
But perhaps not enough to claw us into eigth position...

A fit Swan, a fit Elliot, A Cloke with his head in the game instead of up his arse, a fit settled back 6............................could go on and on. Pretty much everything that could go wrong did go wrong this year. Sad
