I just love hearing in the last few Years how Players say how Much they love being at Collingwood and how much it means to them.

The 2 the most say that is Darcy Moore and Adam Treloar. They say in every interview how they love being at Colingwood

Who else Loves That?

Some of the players up at the Wagga Wagga game were back down in Melbourne the following day supporting our VFL guys against Werribee. Assuming they had the Sunday off it was great of guys like Adams and Cox to take their day off and be seen down at the Glasshouse by the Collingwood fans supporting the VFL side. Shows hum much they love the club.

Still Nice for them to stay and support the VFL Team. They did not have to stay

It's all very nice Dave but in all my years I've never heard any player, from any club say in an interview "I don't really like it here". They may very well love the club, it's a good start but remember so did Seedsman and Karnezis.

Well Seedsman and Karnezis where not Good Enough and that is why they Left

Have you heard a Player do what Treloar does buy saying in every interview how he loves Collingwood?

Dunno because I haven't heard Treloar say it. I try not to watch too many player interviews, it's usually the same old regurgitated, clichéd company line but I'll take your word for it Wink

Exactly, Swanny's the only exception, well worth listening to.

So assuming you're right, when is their day off? They trained on Thursday. Travelled to Wagga Wagga on Friday. Played the game on Saturday. You say recovery on Sunday. They trained today on Tuesday. So Monday?

Normally train Mon-Wed-Fri so assume that Tuesdays and Thursdays are their normal "days off" although people will tell you that once you start pulling north of $100k, you sell your soul and 24/7 availability is on your horizon.

Me either. Happy to lead my meagre existence. But then again nobody has ever offered me a salary approaching the AFL players average wage so who knows what compromises would be made.
