It is normal to compare young developing players style and ability to a know player. I hope he does develop into another Pendles if that is possible - it would be a fantastic result. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

Aish, ironically, reminds me of a young Dayne Beams.
Beams was fairly soft to begin with, almost an entirely outside player but Aish, similar to Beams can grow into a more midfield based role over time.
So basically we replace Beams with Aish, and then there's that Treloar kid also, who is already better then both will ever be. |

Aish was bigger then I thought, When I saw him in the Intra Club. So good to see he is Getting Bigger and Stronger.
I say Aish be a better user of the Ball then Beams is _________________ I am Da Man |

Skilled footballer that seems to have time and is a good decision maker, hence the comparison.
Not to mention his leadership qualities as he was the captain of SA. |

Who's to say Aish won't end up better than Treloar? _________________ kill for collingwood! |

Treloar is in a league of his own, believe me. After I watched him in only one training session I checked his stats against the best inside mid in the competition, Joel Selwood. His stats are virtually identical in height, weight, kicks, marks, handballs and goals. The big difference is Selwood gets three times more free kicks than Treloar (three a game against one). Most importantly Treloar is five years younger than Selwood. That to me makes him a better pick up than Dangerfield at Geelong (who is primarily an outside mid). |

If he's within cooee of Joel Selwood, we have recruited very well indeed. _________________ After the epic draw comes the decisive knockout!

^^Dangerfield is more than an outside mid. He is hard and charges through often. I think he is an inside mid with great leg speed once out.
To my point, Dangerfield 5th for total clearances in the AFL last year and No 1 for centre clearances. They are not the numbers of an outside mid.
Treloar will prove a great pick up for us though. _________________ One team, one dream - the Pies and this year's premiership |
