ALP's new secret weapon: Peta Credlin.
"Mr Habour-side mansion" indeed.
The lack of alliteration is disappointing though. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

For those who have Foxtel, the first people's forum between Turnbull and Shorten is on Sky News right now. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Let us know how it goes, Jezza. Kind of expect the TV debates will suit Turnbull, as he's a better and more natural speaker and seems quicker on his feet. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Sorry David, I'm not watching it so you'll have to rely on the papers to see what was discussed and analysed.
I just heard it being advertised the other night and thought maybe anyone with Foxtel and is interested in the upcoming election might want to watch the forum. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

Since the people's forum involved undecided voters, according to Sky News, 42% of the audience are more likely to vote Labor, 29% are more likely to vote for Turnbull and 29% still remain undecided after tonight's discussion and debate.
This was held in the seat of Macquarie which has been held by the Liberals since 2010. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023

The current election campaign is the biggest dud going around. Murdoch has invested heavily and has 3 Sky channels dedicated to the election. Pity there are no actual viewers. A friend who works at a major radio talk back station advised me that during discussions with producers at a weekly meeting it was noted that less calls about either side of politics than previous elections and they are now putting up alternative programs/issues to sensationalise to get listeners back. People have switched off.
The LNP must be worried, the RACE CARD has been played. |

Am I the only one wondering whether the Libs are waiting for a week before the election to drag up the rape allegation against Shorten? I don't know if it's just seen as an absolute no-go zone or not (certainly, Abbott mostly gave Gillard's association with her dodgy former boyfriend a wide berth), but it would hardly be beneath them to get some insidious scandal piece in the Daily Telegraph in election week. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Have I got this straight, she was raped in 1986 and comes forward in 2015 and expects a favourable result?
I'm not Shorten fan but I'd find it hard to believe based on what she presented - she was alone and gave the police someone's name from 1986 (why didn't she find them herself)
I don't think the Libs will use this as its thin at best. |
