Andrew Nikolic gone in Bass, Liberals gone in Tas in general. But ABC has Coalition still leading 72-64 with 5 seats going to independents or Greens and 9 still to be called. Could yet be a hung parliament.

Hung will help Labor.

God hope the Lib Pricks don't stay in

I'm in jagajaga, safe labor seat

Except that the Libs are ahead on first past the post, it's only green preferences that open up the gap.

In every seat there is a swing against the the party holding the seat. My perception is People across the board are pissed off with whoever is the member in their seat. Independents and Greens are thriving. Hanson Hinch are shoe ins.

Not in Melbourne. There's been a swing to the sitting (Green) member.

Massive fail it seems for Turnbull although too early to call.

I especially loved Albo winning with a 10.4% margin & the Greens losing by that much so far. Their behaviour in that seat has backfired Very Happy Very Happy

My seat of Goldstein is like the suburbs - no change. IPA nutter Wilson retains the seat. Effectively no swing whatsoever.

Melbourne Ports: looks too close to call IMO so far but it appears marginally to be an ALP retain

It'll be funny if the ALP preferences in Melbourne Ports get the Libs over the line and back into Government eh?

What's this Medicare shit that Labor have come up with? Their tactics of just coming up with the biggest load of scary bullshit they can and running with it could come back and bite them in the arse.

Looking like some Nationalist parties have got Senate seats, and the Greens have been flogged, only retaining 1 seat. Happy on both counts.

I'm a single dad and a Student. I vote in the national interest, not with a Gibs me dat attitude. The fact that so many people vote based on what Government can "give" them is a sad indictment of politics in this country. Anything the government 'gives' you is taken from someone else. Everyone on welfare payment (myself included right now) should remember that every dollar they get given is earned by a worker. Now I've been that worker and paid a shitload of tax, in some cases so much tax that I would've been better off on welfare, that should NEVER be an incentivised path.

The Liberals are far from perfect, but Socialism, both social and economic is a cancer that destroys Nations that over indulge in it.
