Wrong thread Wokko. Ought to have been in what made me laugh or WTF.

Not really, Turnbull has NO idea what he's doing and is as far from a true believer the Liberal party would have. The people who like him are Labor voters and when push comes to shove they're going to tick the same box they've ticked for decades.

As unpopular as Abbott was he was respected for being a man of principle; even if you disagreed with him you could see his sincerity. Turnbull has that Rudd slime dripping off him. Plenty on the Right want to see him gone and unlike popularity which doesn't sway many votes, conviction does.

Dunno if principle is the right term. He definitely had some deeply held convictions, some of them good, some of them hopelessly outdated.

I'm still prepared to cut Turnbull some slack as he's had to cater to the lunatic right of his party to maintain previous policy positions.

It'll be interesting to see if he can cast off the shackles once he wins government in his own right. I expect to see a better showing closer to the election as self interest makes even the loony's in the party pull their heads in.

Interesting that many workers feel unhappy and are underpaid. People do vote with their wallets and everyone knows the LNP are all about cutting real wages and penalty rates. No doubt the ALP will pick up votes there.

Never Stui, but when you see CEOs on mega bucks whilst you bust your arse for a pittance, told the company cannot afford it, I can see why people are unhappy. Rich v Poor is what this election will be about on many levels.

Good article, smart boy, smart enough to be able to develop a real sense of perspective being in a different country.

I liked the piece about the deliberate spelling mistakes that people didn't notice
