He has put on some muscle over the break thats for sure.

I thought he was OK when he played seniors early last year but I have high hopes for him now.

Right. It looks the standard case of a kid maturing into his body over a preseason on schedule, which is in turn allowing us to see his ability. He can handle a pack and moves well in traffic for his size, that's for sure.

Keep at it, lad!

From the video, he looks to have developed more muscle around the thighs.

Watching young Corey from the Reg Hickey stand on Friday night he is now a big mobile unit. Thighs & upper body. Not Atlas but a good size.

As Dr Pie observed the issue with Gault was he didn't get enough of the ball to warrant selection (last year). However if we can deliver the ball like we did to the forward line on Friday night then anything is possible.

By my reckoning he has kicked 8 straight in his last 8 kicks for goal (intra cob last week & Friday night). He is also a strong mark.

He is a similar size as he was last year of which he was available to play most the season.

This was july 2015

.
Yes, that is the same Jackcass as past years.
Always patting other posters on the back.
As for Corey Gault I liked watching him in the VFL last year.
Will he make it?.... we hope so.

As usual you silly people are missing the entire bloody point. Too many of you eagerly want many Collingwood players pissed off the list but NEVER EVER admit to being totally wrong when you have egg all over your faces. Evil or Very Mad Mad

Gault and Cox will both play primarily in the VFL and only get a game in the event of an injury to Moore or Cloke. One things for sure, we have the best big man depth of any side in the comp.

Asking a simple question hardly qualifies as gloating... trust me, you'll know when I'm gloating.

Kid still has a long way to go before he'll force his way into the senior team but not doing his chances any harm with his form to date.

Yep, this. Funnily enough I would have actually thought the Cats had great big fella depth but it was ours that shone brighter.

When Gault proves me "totally wrong" by becoming a consistently good AFL player I will admit I erred.

5 years and counting I doubt he will escape the axe again.

Not sure how that makes myself or others who think he is not the 2nd coming of Carey a gutless wonder.

Facts are he has shown sweet fa in 4 seasons and shown some glaring weakness in his game.

I will admit this much that was the best game i have seen him play and if he continues that form will become a half decent option.
