I hope the surface of GMHBA (Simmonds) stadium aka Kardinia Park is ok and does not result in injuries

I assume that we will get a Blackmore's injury update from Balmy soon, but at this stage I think the following are probably unavailable for NAB1:

Scharenberg
Howe
Goldsack
Treloar (confirmed in intra-club interview)
Elliott (unlikely)
Keeffe*
Thomas*

Have I missed anyone?

I suspect that we will also manage/rest quite a few of our older players and more certain starters in NAB 1 so we should get to see a fair bit of the young guns.

We were beaten a few years back in the same match.
That was depressing being in the outer with the cocky cat supporters.
Hope we beat the rats at the cattery.
I support the Greens on this one... the only good cat is a dead one!

Skinned, deboned and minced, mixed with some cabbage and spices, wrapped in thin pastry and lightly steamed or fried I reckon they're great. Cool

Looking forward to watching some footy. Think we'll give a few of the kids a run so not overly concerned about the result.

Odds are we will get beat in this game, and pretty easily too.

The Cats have to travel to Shepparton then Perth for their final 2 games, so it's likely that they'll load up for this game.

We will have 7-8 players who won't be available for selection and some of those are very big names (Treloar and Elliott the biggest 2).

Still it gives those pushing for a shot at round 1 selection a chance to impress.

IF we do that then we might get done like the Eagles did today.

Guess you could see Cloke and Swan and Maybe Even Pendles being Rested

You can add Crisp, Crocker, Wills and Sier to the list of outs. Doubt that all three rucks will play, with my guess being that Grundy will be rotated out of the first game. Also think Wyatt won't get a game as there are too many players ahead of him. Would also surprise if Broomhead and Sinclair play all three NAB games because of their injury history.

What's up with Crisp? He missed the intra-club because of training load management (according to his interview).
