Post subject: Rid politics of toxic vermin T. Abbott once and for all | |
|
We can criticise Turnbull for the NBN, and we can also defend him for having to navigate the prior Liberal Agenda. Whatever the case, his very presence, moderate instinct and general sanity is to be greatly praised and valued because it has allowed serious policy discussion once again.
This is not to be underestimated by Left or Right. Sometimes, it's the best you can get because it clears the decks and is the starting point of worthwhile initiatives. I think many underestimate just how rotten, and damaging, the last decade of poisonous and hysterical politics has been. Leave that stuff to the fanatics elsewhere in the world.
Abbott is still sneaking about the margins like the plague-carrying, destructive vermin he is, chewing away at the woodwork and staining the place with his pungent, toxic scent.
Any politician with an ounce of world awareness and talent would have buggered off for the good of others, and found something new and interesting to do with his life.
But Abbott isn't a visionary or a talent or an enlightened man of the world; he's destructive to the core; an extremist with a singular obsession and skill skill: Wrecking the joint to "win" some twisted game in his head.
Eff off Tony, once and for all. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Yes, can't have any dissenting voices, everyone must be in progressive lockstep. Tolerance for me and none for thee. |

I'm fine for people to believe that segregation is right and that women shouldn't vote. But I'm not sure such people make ideal choices for public office. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

Abbott is doing a Krudd, being a disruptive cnut from the back bench because a hard core of rusted on dickwads are telling him he still has a chance to be PM again.
Just piss off Tony, you're a genuine bloke who wants to serve the public, but the only thing you're serving now is the agenda of right wing douches. Pack up, piss off and go do something worthwhile. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

FFS, bury this turd, and yesterday.
At the very least, a former PM and member of the national security committee of cabinet has encouraged and used a national security leak for his own personal advantage, while only the biggest fool would think he wasn't a part of it.
What a brown stain on the nation.
The Aged wrote: | Breathtaking breach of basic responsibility from ex-PM Tony Abbott
Tony Abbott has already denied being the source of the leaked sections of the Defence white paper. The journalist who received the leak, a friend of Abbott's, has also denied it came from the former prime minister.
Taking them both at their word, the mere fact that Abbott agreed to be quoted at length for the story – a very favourable story to him but an attempted damning of Malcolm Turnbull – tacitly condoned the leak of what Fairfax Media has been told were "highly classified" documents.
That alone is a breathtaking breach of basic responsibility for a former prime minister and member of the national security committee of cabinet. Abbott should and will now be the subject of a grilling by the Australian Federal Police, as will his former defence minister and ally Kevin Andrews, who also gave a somewhat vague denial he was the leaker.
