Do you think they'll eventually bring in penalties for using a VPN to access the sites that get banned? It seems pretty inevitable as far as I can see.

The point of a VPN is they have no idea what you're doing. People in China use them to get around the 'Great Firewall'.

But can't you be tracked if you torrent? That's why TOR, for instance, recommends not using torrent clients.

Government would love to have no Encryption but I just can't see them Banning it 100%
