Everyone is saying that we have no Crumbing Forwards.

So I was thinking how White get his Goals. There are not normal from Marks - Normally by ball hitting the Ground or a Drop Mark that he Runs onto and Kicks a Goal from Them.

So IF he get's AFL Game Time his best Postion could be as a Crumbing Forward. Also he can Play Ruck and keep Moore out of the Ruck for a Year of 2.

Moore is Ahead of White as a Tall Forward

Agree?

White can be a very valuable player if we harness what he can do well rather than dwelling on what he doesn't.

He's athletic enough to play anywhere and tall enough to be a 3rd tall or spare ruck. Very useful utility.

Can be Useful but don't get much Output. Even with having a Career Season(By Numbers) last year

Can he play centre half back?

Serious question, because a combination of Marsh/Frost/Brown/Goldsack and possibly White, this year anyway, while Keefe is waiting to get "better", means we can finally move Reid to full forward and leave him there.

Darcy Moore will play full forward (or thereabouts) and Reid will return to being the All Australian Centre Half Back.

Well he's clearly not a marking forward so he'd probably be just as useless as a crumbing one. Good crumbers are adept at reading the flight of the ball and positiong themselves accordingly, something you couldn't accuse Jesse of doing. In all fairness though he does have some great physical attributes which may be suited to playing further up the ground as some have suggested, on a wing perhaps. I think he was only kept on as some insurance while Darcy develops otherwise we'd be a bit thin on mobile talls.

I don't get the haters obvious or not
Jessie was brought in quite cheaply for his premiership experience and his honest way of playing the game, not many ducks are still capable of big contested marks at the end of their career, he has more than served his propose as thus young team grows, on and off field

I'd love to see him roam the back a bit, he's got a good kick on him, it's a great idea, for cloke also, the added bonus is it sharpens defensive skills, and every player on the ground should be a defensive player when we don't have the ball

Yes. I'd love to see Trev play upfield, more.

Can just imagine him, getting the ball on half back, charging to the center and roosting the ball goalwards.

It'll go to either flanker (instead of out on the full) or .... it'll be a goal. Smile

Hopefully we get to see White play the role we actually got him for - 3rd tall forward who can run up the ground.

the only problem is, his forward entry is average, unfortunately.
