would still like to see a two year extension but one year is sensible. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Skimmed through Inside Footy over the weekend and found something that sent chills through my ageing bones.
Crackers Keenan, who often writes some bizarre stuff, which occasionally comes true, wrote:
"There might already be a secret agreement at Collingwood that if the Magpies win five or six of their early games Nathan Buckley will be re-signed until 2019."
Let us pray for a 1-year extension announcement tomorrow night. |

Caro reporting tonight:
Collingwood re-sign coach Nathan Buckley
March 14 2016 - 6:37PM
Caroline Wilson
Collingwood and Nathan Buckley have agreed to terms, with the club set to announce a contract extension for its coach at the Magpies' season launch on Tuesday night.
The Magpies had forecast a one-year extension for Buckley, with the coach himself calling on the club to take a conservative approach.
The former Magpie skipper and six-time best-and-fairest winner took over as Collingwood coach from Mick Malthouse for the 2012 season.

All we need now is a handful of number 1 draft picks (say, 3 in a row would do nicely) and we'll be set. |

I think Lazza must mean one of those asteroids lining up planet Earth for a nice hip&shoulder, just like in Deep Impact or Armageddon,
or ironically 2012, the Mayan end of the world theme movie, and also the year Buckley took the reins... coincidence? I don't think so.... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
