Also when looking at the map, the Metro Melbourne allocated to the Pies is quite poor and does not encompass the number of APS schools I initially thought.

Thanks for that. Question - how do you define non-traditional background? Open to a degree of interpretation I would think. Playing Rugby or Soccer as a kid? Tennis or Basketball?

This zoning is not what it was.

Do players zoned (if they are considered good enough) automatically progress to the club that is developing them or are they transferable through such things as bidding etc?

Exactly the same as Northern Academies as they be Bidded on Draft Night
