What a fool.
Not only is he playing an organised game of cricket whilst suffering a foot injury he's put himself in this danger of suffering a common cricket injury whilst being paid to be a professional footballer.
Once preseason starts there should be a ban on players participating in local sport competitions IMO to minimise this risk. |

Mind you, this time last year the Keefe and Thomas stuff up was playing out, so if the Howe issue is as bad as it gets this pre-season I'm grateful. |

So he was filling in?
That's BS for starters. He played 4 games and it was the Semi Finals. He couldn't have played if he wasn't qualified and its all there online to see.
And he didn't bat despite being the top scorer during the other games and they lost by 1 run. Look it up.
So he's obviously lied to the club.
Very disappointing. They can't have this stuff happening - need to make a stand. |

Well, my first response was that castration was a fitting punishment. But on calmer reflection I thought maybe that's a bit harsh. Maybe just the left one? Nah.
The standard first offence punishment in my old bush team was to be taken out the back of club rooms and held down by four big blokes while the rest of the team pissed on you. Usually worked a treat, except when you've got players who need to sit down to piss. |

Just listening to the SEN podcast of Balmey.
He has basically called the Herald Sun journos and US (those of us who don't believe XXXX) - 'dickheads'.
Well here's one back at you Balmey.
OK u may have not much choice but to pretend to believe this tripe, and therefore cover it up, but you do not need to abuse those who question this perfectly sensible fable.
Anyone who abuses those who don't believe in fairytales is a FAT F%$# !!

Not having a crack at you Tully - but this is what Balmey also said and if I hear it again I'll spu up.
The guy is injured - has barely been able to train for a month,
Anyone who says its only a game of cricket - hasn't played much cricket.
This decision to play cricket has potentially set him back for the season - at a minimum he won't be playing the first 2 rounds it seems.
This is looking like a > $100,000 error of judgement.
Then him and his manager run with the frisbee story and makes himself the biggest AFL joke of 2016 and severely compromises the position of everyone in authority at the football club.
This is worse then the Heater story.
Heater was protecting a mate.
This bloke looks like he is covering his own ass no matter what the cost. |

It's all piss & wind.
You weren't there nor was I. The rest is speculation. I'll change my mind should the facts are shown not the here-say so far provided. Until the presentation of substantiated fact or evidence is provided the rest is all here-say based on speculation deriving from a construction.
I'm more than happy to change my mind when the evidence has been corroborated / confirmed / substantiated.
Until that time it's all piss & wind
Now, to the real facts:

Yawn! Making mountains out of molehills me thinks. He's injured and that's disappointing but it's hardly going to derail our season.
It is reassuring to know that I can come to Nicks though and be counseled by all these arbiters of truth and reality. |
