Doubtful we'll be particularly big players come trade time, except maybe moving backwards with our picks in 2 for one exchanges etc. We'll be trying to make sure we have enough points for juniors Daicos and Brown.

Yes. I think I mentioned in a different post a while back that its a horrid thought having a Weideman at Melbourne.

It sounds like he wont be ready to play much AFL this season due to injuries. Will he want to leave after his 2 years? It'd be much easier to get him than Hogan.

Good point. I guess we'll have to see what kind of season they'll have at TAC level and go from there.

If his second season is anything like his first the cost will be too prohibitive. Maybe he's worth it, but two years exposure isn't enough to be certain, then there's injuries and other issues that could arise. The Swans went all out for Franklin and I don't think that's been a positive for them on the field. Pass.
