I'm with you.
I am only the only one in my family who doesn't eat pavlova. Don't like meringue either.
I usually make deserts for family gatherings but pav is the one thing I will not make. |
No worries you two....... Pavlova is from NZ anyway!!!!

The hugs & kisses wasn't working which is rare for a Public Holiday, so we got to spend the whole day as a family, instead of just tagging each other in and out like a WWF Wrestling match!
- Got to sleep in until 10.00am!!!! Bliss!!!!!!!
- Had a lovely omelette/coffee brunch while reading the paper, slowly.
- Myself & the 9 year old played 9 holes at Northcote whilst the 5 year old & mum accompanied us for the walk. Both of us hit 'em really well (although I missed 3 birdie putts. ) 5 year old excited himself by sinking some 6 inch putts!
- Went for dinner at our favourite Malaysian place in North Melbourne. Ate like kings the 4 of us for $60!!
- Fell asleep on the couch watching cricket, with a half full stubby next to me.
That's the perfect Straya Day for me!!!!!! _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

Hang on I got this.
It's good to see all the self hating, virtue signalers decided to shut the **** up about Australia Day for at least one year.
There, sorted.

Hmm. Not bad. But taken in isolation, is the 'outrage' in this case actually warranted? Or is it just dumb mouth-breathing patriots jumping when they're told to jump? _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

That is the most Australian thing ever!, as the cafe owner correctly points out. Be a real smart-arse to people who aren't in your inner-circle, get it thrown right back at ya!! _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

Love to see the PM come out with something like "We have listened to protests ans as of next year we will abolish Australia Day. No public holiday and naturalisation ceremonies can be done at any time with costs paid by the applicant".
I could hear the protests from Thailand. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

Hopefully he says lets celebrate the day that is inclusive for all Australians when Australia became a country. Given New years day is not a good one then the day that the Privy Council said Australia you're a country now. Anyone know the date? _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |
