"I've got something to prove."

Jarrod Witts called an impromptu meeting with Nathan Buckley this off-season.

Good On Him but you could say he cost us a Future 1st Round Draft Pick by not being Part of the Treloar Trade

Yes and Pendlebury not being traded cost us two first round draft picks.
Grundy will cost us another first round draft pick in 2016 if he refuses to leave so will Moore

Seems to have lost some weight - expecting to see a more mobile and mature player'' with increased endurance'' interchanging between ruck duties and forward line in 2016

He has the right and a say as a contracted player who he plays for. Good luck to him I say and let's hope that he gets up and surprises everybody by becoming one of the best rucks in the competition. He is still very young for a ruck and has massive potential. I for one would retain him over Kruizer without hesitation.

I actually did not mind Plan A that Trading Witts and Bringing in Kruszer as I think he would Complimate Grundy better then Witts

As a Collingwood supporter DTM, you can’t so blatantly have no time for certain players like Witts and go all ga ga about certain other players like Moore. That is not fair to anyone.
You should be extremely proud of Witts so loyally committing to Collingwood and be very happy about it DTM... Rolling Eyes

Last time I heard in Australia everyone has the right to his say and that,s
what the young man did.
If he believe,s he has the ability to help affect a good outcome for the team
let,s give him a go.

Good on Witts, heard the rumours and fronted the coach and said I want to stay.

Determined young bloke, first pre season not interrupted by surgery and I love that he's looking forward to getting on the weights.

I'm a big fan. I like Grundy too but I think Witts will end up being better by the end of their careers.

I have always been a fan of Jarred Witts and I love his attitude to stick it up the admin to say he would rather be a Collingwood player than be traded to GWS. He looks to have completly changed his body shape and if he can now increase his strength I think big Jarred will go a long way to make Collingwood a better side this year. We need all the players to have his same dedication and spirit. I just hope he develops a bit more mongrel in his play which may come with experience and natural body development. I have high hopes that Jarred Witts and Brody Grundy will be a potent weapon and driving force for Collingwood in the ruck and dangerous while resting up forward as well.

The good thing is that with the sub rule now history, it makes it easier to play 2 genuine ruckmen, rotating off the bench. The Witts/Grundy combination could be a powerful weapon for us over the next few years.
