There are believers and sceptics. I see no reason to err on the side of caution. I would rather the sceptics be right more than believers be right. |

Lol, yet another PR stunt by the usual loons and fossil fuel investors. Did Saudi and Iranian oil interests sponsor this to prop up their grip on power, or is it just the local deceitful moon units? _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

If you're quick, search Google now and see the coordinated campaign by the Loon News sites. Narrow it by the day and hour to see how PR companies run these propaganda campaigns to fool people into thinking they're seeing a society-wide issue of relevance. Wokko, of course, goes hook, line and sinker first.
Anyhow, a nice little case study for one of my lines of work, but if you ever see me abuse people's ignorance to line my own pockets like that, you have permission to get ISIS to stone me to death. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

I never understand this fight. surely if our bad habits are causing any kind of grief, and there is an alternative, why not use it? the planet, the people, the animals would all be a lot better off if we were all a little kinder, a little more careful, and less wasteful everyday.

Quote - Dr John Christy, professor of atmospheric science and director of the earth system science centre (ESSC) @ the university of Alabama/Huntsville
"Our ignorance is simply enormous when it comes to the climate system and our understanding is certainly not strong and solid enough to make policy about climate because we don't even know what it's going to do, so how can we make a policy that says 'I want to make the climate do something' when we don't know what makes the climate do what it does?" he asked.
However, he noted "there is still a strong belief system, that greenhouse gasses control the climate, and so if that is your belief system, then it doesn't really matter what the evidence shows"
He obviously hasn't heard of the Nicks Bulletin Board climate experts group, they know that global warming is real professor so it must be true! 😂😂😂 _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Yes, agreed! It's the usual case of bad old investments hanging on for dear life making everyone else suffer, and the usual outcast group of hangers on wanting to turn their "plight" into new religion just to kick society because they're angry at whatever. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

You mean one bright social weirdo from Redneckville U. who has devoted his life to getting back at the world because he has mummy issues he doesn't know how to resolve? Is that your new scientific consensus? _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

And there's plenty on both ends of the spectrum and all places in between, from the fervent climate change believers who have the fervor of a religious fundamentalist to the blockheads who believe the earth is flat.
