I met Keith at a specialist surgery in Malvern some months before he passed away.He was with his wife and I talked about the anti football league and how much I enjoyed his style when he was still working. I then mentioned the age of the magazines in the waiting room. He basically said good writing is timeless so it shouldn't matter how old they are but that sport and the latest fads are not worth keeping. I then asked him what he thought of reality tv and said if he was starting out today he would have a life times work. Lovely man and he still had his beret, as did his wife have hers.
